Career Planning & Development

Planning

Stylus College's career planning phase begins by examining the directions that a graduate is qaulified to take in the music industry. Based on the current trends and future demands, a music industry professional must have a portfolio consisting of current and previous musical and production projects which demonstrate his/her technological capabilities, artistic direction, and musical preferences. To gain access to musical projects, a well-designed portfolio provides our graduates with the edge needed to succeed.

In addition to a professional portfolio, a complete and well-detailed business plan will serve several purposes for our graduates:

-To be used for internal planning and record growth

-To be used to attract clients for projects

-To be used to form partnerships with other business entities

-To be used to attract funding for starting your dream studio

Development

The development process for creating a portfolio and a business plan starts from the time our students enter the first term of their studies. Together with special courses and on-going mentoring, our students learn to complete the two important aspects of their career planning & development by the time they reach graduation.
